Action Figure Close Quarters Battle
I designed this game to be a fast and simple game to use with action figures. I prefer Stikfas© and you will see that this game is sort of biased towards them. You and use other figures around 3" tall if you have them, as Stikfas© can be kind of expensive. The 1/18th scale BBI figures are excellent as well as the 3 3/4" GiJoes. I have kept the weapons ranges low because I wanted to be able to play on a kitchen table or within a 3 ~ 4 ft. square area, and using the range cards could get messy and time consuming if you laid down too many. Damage is high, guns will kill your figure just like in real life. So planning, cover, and a little luck is needed if your figure is to survive. You can use whatever you like for 'terrain'. I made some buildings out of some small boxes and the walls in a 'Paint' program. Have fun and don't fight about the rules. Be FAIR.

Terrain made from a 'foam camping mat' that I painted green on one side and cut it up, I also use these pieces for naval wargaming islands.
UPDATE 09/5/04 : Updated Control panel with more intuitive CRT (combat results table). Works like this. Roll a 1 = Miss no matter what. Roll 1D6 add any modifiers check the CRT. It is really kind of hard to miss.
"Let's kick it up a notch, BAMMM!" Now you have a reason to buy a 12 inch action figure again, just play out in the woods or in the back yard, just make sure the wife and or girlfriend, neighbors doesn't see you. If they do, remember: You are with a Govt. think-tank, and involved with planning an attack on a suspected Al-Qeada hideout.
